Australia’s leading serviced apartment provider, Quest Serviced Apartments, with currently over 100 properties in its portfolio will open Quest Albury in towards the end of November 2008.
Upon completion, Quest Albury will mark 115 properties in the company’s portfolio throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Quest Albury, like most Quest properties, will operate as a franchised business and will be purpose designed and built by Quest.
Quest Chairman, Paul Constantinou said the location of Quest in Albury was consistent with the group’s 19-year business philosophy of creating Quest properties where business demands dictated.
“Quest’s platform is based on extended-stay business travellers seeking accommodation close to where they are doing business, whether it is in the country, the CBD or the suburbs,” Mr Constantinou says.
“The new property, a $17 million five-storey development, located in the major urban centre of the Albury-Wodonga region that services a regional population of around 100,000 people will be completed by September 2008.
“Quest Albury will offer corporate travellers a stylish and centrally located property that takes advantage of Albury’s location on Australia's busiest inland transport corridor and its status as a strategic hub for commerce, retail, transport, health and education.”
With a conference room on-site, Quest Albury will also cater to businesses requiring conference or meeting room facilities. It will offer 59 studio, one, two- or three-bedroom fully equipped serviced apartments that can access the three on-site retail tenancies and gymnasium.
“Our commitment to the corporate traveller is to be everywhere he or she needs to be with contemporary amenities to enable them to conduct business away from the office,” says Mr Constantinou.
