Extended program, new venue, same friendly hospitality...
Following the success of the inaugural forum in 2007 Charles Sturt University has handed the event over to the Wagga Wagga community to advance. Whilst we will see some changes to the forum it will still provide milliners throughout the world with fantastic social and developmental opportunities.
The major change will be the new venue, with the event now held in the City of Wagga Wagga. The Trade Expo and seminars will be held at the newly renovated RSL Club, whilst the hands-on workshops will be held at Wagga High in the centre of Wagga Wagga. This is a positive move for the event as it allows delegates to select from a large range of accommodation options and also provides the opportunity for networking after evening seminars.
Another bonus is the extended program. An extra day of workshops and all workshops are longer in duration. The objective is for delegates to learn a variety of skills and techniques across the four days whilst adding to their current protfolio of millenery skills. This change is a direct result of feedback from the 2007 event, so thank you to those who took time to complete the survey.
I encourage you to take your time to explore the program, the most difficault part for delegates will the workshop scheduling - the line up is absolutely fantastic and I am sure you wish you could do them all!
TIP: In order to gain as much from the forum workshop session as possible get together with your millenery buddies and scheduale your workshops so that you can go home after the forum and share everything you have learnt in your individual workshop sessions.
